Charge:
The Member Career Services Committee is charged with facilitating career-related services for NACADA members; encouraging presentations at both national and regional conferences on career-related topics; providing career-related services at national conferences; publishing, maintaining and supporting up-to-date and easily accessible career-related information and advising position announcement resources; fostering the talents and contributions of all members; and promoting the involvement of diverse populations.

Provide members the opportunity to have their
career-related questions answered in the career services
advice column in the NACADA newsletter.

Provide sample resumes/CVs and/or cover letters
on the NACADA website; provide links to pertinent career-related
web sites.

Reserve a professional development space at
the Annual Conference devoted to career services resources.
Provide resume/CV and cover letter critiquing service and facilitate
interviews for open positions at the Annual Conference.

Monitor and track membership use of the Career
Services website.

Carefully coordinate initiatives with the Professional
Development Task Force.
