Network with your colleagues -- participate in Commissions and Interest Groups!  NACADA members may designate up to a total of four commissions and/or interest groups with which to have official affiliation. This official affiliation primarily identifies those commissions and/or interest groups for which you would have voting privileges (commissions only), receive activity updates, and be eligible to hold an elected or appointed position within, such as serving on a committee or serving as chair. Although participation in commissions and interest groups is entirely optional for NACADA members, we encourage you to join those of special interest to you as they are valuable resources for information and networking.  NOTE: Your four selections can be any combination of commissions and interest groups.

Following are links for your convenience to lists of the current commissions and interest groups available. More information on a particular commission or interest group can be reviewed on its individual web pages.

If you would like to designate or change your preferred commission and/or interest group choices with which you would like to be affiliated, please do by visiting your online membership account. To establish an account or to enter your account visit the myNACADA home page. 

Login to myNACADA and then click the “My Information” link in the left navigation menu. Your information will be displayed. Click the "Edit Information" link on the page to make changes. Scroll to nearly the bottom of the page to find the commission/interest group options. Units for which you are currently a member will be highlighted. If you would like to make changes, follow the instructions located to the left of the commissions/interest groups list. Be sure to click the “Save” button at the bottom of the page to save your changes. You may change your commission and interest group affiliations at any time - although you should be aware that this may affect your eligibility for certain awards and elected positions.
