Annual Reports

ANNUAL LEADERSHIP REPORTS —

To complete your annual leadership report, you will make updates to the post-conference report submitted last fall and then e-mail your completed annual report document to Jenifer Scheibler, CIGD Liaison, by July 31.

Updates should be made on the status of the goals and activities submitted in your post-conference report last fall. Most updates will be in Section 2 of your report, in the two columns noted below. If any text was entered last fall in either of these columns, please date your updated entries.  Another option might be to color-code any updates made in this report.

  • Date Completed: Update as appropriate. If “pending”, note such in this column and indicate a projected completion date in the “Progress” column.
  • Progress Made and Assessment of Strategies/Actions Taken:  Report the current status or progress of the activity. Include a brief assessment of strategies and actions taken to determine if the goal was met. Report the status of each goal even if it has not yet been completed or is in progress. If new activities were completed beyond those initially projected, be sure to make a new entry under the applicable mission statement, and complete all the columns for that entry.
  • New goals or activities that your unit may be planning for next year should not be added at this time — these will be submitted in your post-conference report due in November.

Updates to other sections within the report should also be made at this time.  Most notably, if your unit has any issues or items for consideration by the Division, Council, or Board of Directors at the fall leadership meetings, be sure to note those in Section 3.  Changes to your unit's volunteers should be reported in Section 1. Refer to the guidelines linked above for more information on these updates.

NOTE: Only those Chairs submitting post-conference reports after the conference last fall need to submit an updated annual report at this time. For those commissions with newly elected Chairs, these reports are to be completed by the current Chairs.

NOTE: Annual reports are required of all Commission Chairs.  These reports are optional for Interest Group Chairs.
