Dear Advising Education Majors Commission
members:
Presentation proposals
are now being accepted for the 2007
annual NACADA conference in Baltimore. We have had some great
presentations in the last several years for education majors. Each
year the number of advising education majors related proposals
and presentations has increased and we are looking forward to
another great year!
Consider sending in a proposal for
the 2007 conference. NACADA gives three great
reasons for presenting at the annual conference: 1) national exposure
for your ideas and institution, 2) help in securing funding from
your institution, and 3) furthering the body of knowledge in your
area of interest. Whether you are an experienced presenter or
are a novice, we look forward to hearing from you.
*How to write a proposal*
- For a tutorial on how to write and submit an on-line
presentation proposal , visit www.nacada.ksu.edu/2007proposals
on the NACADA web site. If you would like to ask me questions
about presenting or sending in a proposal, feel free to e-mail
me at clancaste@emich.edu.
We especially want to encourage collaboration between different
colleges and universities. The first step in collaboration is
to determine who shares similar interests. We encourage you to
e-mail the listserve with subjects that you are interesting in
learning more about or with subjects/ideas/research you are interested
in presenting.
*How to Post a Message*
- For instructions on subscribing to and posting messages to the
commission listserve, visit www.nacada.ksu.edu/Commissions/C22/listserve.htm
on our commission web site. Although NACADA list serves do not
accept file attachments, you have a couple of options:
- Cut and paste the information from the attachment into the
actual e-mail.
- Send the e-mail with attachments to everyone by typing in
their individual e-mail addresses rather than to the list serve.
