2010 NACADA Leadership Nomination Acceptance Form
for Unit Chair Positions

Congratulations on being nominated for a Unit Chair position in the NACADA Leadership elections (i.e., Commission Chair, Committee Chair, or Region Chair)! To be considered a final candidate, submit your nomination acceptance and the following information to the Executive Office no later than Friday, November 13, 2009.

Select the specific Unit Chair position for which you have been nominated from the drop-down menu provided below and complete the applicable sections of this form, including the following steps:

indicate if you accept the nomination;
indicate the appropriate official at your institution who is aware of and supports your candidacy;
indicate that institutional financial support is available for travel to required meetings;
indicate that you have read the information provided regarding the role and responsibilities of the leadership position for which you have been nominated;
include a short synopsis of your involvement in NACADA and campus advising-related activities;
provide platform statements focusing on the Leadership position for which you have been nominated, including your goals for the unit, and past experiences and skills that will assist you in serving in this position; and,
provide a photo to post with your platform information.

Those individuals responding fully with the above-mentioned information by the deadline specified will be considered final candidates.
