Dear
NACADA Probation/Dismissal/Reinstatement Interest Group Members:
By
now you have probably received the NACADA 2005 Annual Conference
Call for Proposals. The theme of the conference in Las Vegas is
"Hitting the Jackpot: Making Academic Success a Sure
Bet!" What better theme for our PDR issues than this?!
I hope that many of you are thinking about presenting at concurrent
sessions on these issues.
I
would like to present a concurrent session with several other PDR
Interest Group members and am seeking volunteers. Maybe a panel
discussion or round table discussions on PDR research, current issues,
best practices, or something else. I'm open for ideas. Does
anyone want to collaborate with me on this? If so,
please send an e-mail directly to me at reyno238@msu.edu
and let me know. We'll have to move quickly on this to get our proposal
in by the February 8 deadline.
Another
request - I'm still looking for more interested
PDR Interest Group members to participate on the Research Committee
and Publications Committee. If you are interested and have some
time to devote to this, please let me know, and I'll provide you
with more details.
Thanks
and have a great holiday!
