Accountability in Academic Advising: Data-driven

Decision Making to Promote Institutional Change Seminar

San Antonio, TX

January 25-26, 2007

Are you preparing for an accreditation visit or self study?

Need to gather data to justify a new program?

Looking for ways to use your assessment data to make changes in your advising program?

Then This Is The Seminar For You!

Today, in higher education, accountability is a key issue being driven by state legislatures, regional accrediting bodies, and the public at large. With the drive for accountability comes the need to collect and use data effectively by administrators in decision making and program development to increase the success of students across the institution.

This seminar will provide participation with:

  • Strategies for effectively collecting data on their campuses
  • Strategies for the analysis of data for decision making purposes
  • Strategies for the effective utilization of data analysis

Participants will work with survey data to gain experience in analyzing data and utilizing it to make decisions concerning problems or issues on campuses as well as to develop successful proposals to initiate significant changes on their campuses.

Join us in 4 PLENARY SESSIONS titled:

Ready at the Gate: Setting the Stage for Data-driven Decision

Operating at 30,000 Feet: Using Data to Support Change

Now in the Driver’s Seat: Generating Meaningful Data on Your Campus

Alone on the Information Highway: Integrating, Prioritizing, and Moving Ahead

This is a working seminar, please come a day early or stay an extra day to enjoy San Antonio.
