Call
for Proposals
What
changes are on the horizon for academic advising? In higher education?
How do we prepare for change? How do we help students deal with
change? How do we cope with change? How do we embrace change in
our institutions? In our lives?
If
you have ideas, research or best practices to share about embracing
change, plan to come to Saratoga Springs, New York to present
at the Region 1 conference. Advisors in the Northeast have
counted on the Region One conference to provide proven programs
of advising success for twenty five years. For advising
administrators, faculty advisors, administrative professionals
and seasoned or new advisors alike, the Region One conference
delivers innovation and offers great opportunities to network,
reconnect and recharge.
We
rely on our members to submit a variety of topics for presentation.
If you would like to see more variety or different topics presented
at the Region One Conference, be sure to submit a presentation
proposal!
Looking
for a specific topic idea for a presentation? Based on feedback
from the 2008 conference, Region 1 advisors are interested in
hearing more about how we can Embrace Change
around:
- The future of distance learning
