twenty five years of leading the country in enhancing quality
advising practices, the Southeast Region of NACADA is known
as the Region of innovation, change, and growth.
Participants
will have the opportunity to learn and to share information
in this 3 day program which provides access to:
- Preconference Workshops
facilitated by several of Region 4's nationally recognized
leaders.
- Concurrent sessions, keynote
addresses and other activities to enhance student development
by increasing skills for individuals and enhancing advising
programs.
- Networking opportunities with
colleagues who are examining ways to navigate current
higher education changes and challenges.

Join
NACADA Colleagues for 24 Hours of Research
in Starkville at the
Mississippi
State University Campus
Saturday,
March 14th & Sunday, March 15th, 2009

the
Region
4 Conference! |
- The Purpose of the Symposium
is to build a community of scholars. It is open to all
NACADA members.
- The Event will take place prior
to the Region IV 2009 Conference.
- The Program is designed for
researchers at all levels who are ready to transform their
ideas into scholarly works.
- The Agenda will include: large
group discussions, small group interactions, independent
work, and one-on-one time with research mentors.
- The Participants will receive
a binder with pertinent articles related to research in
advising, among other useful tools and materials.
- The Cost is $75, which includes
Research Symposium resources, time with NACADA consultant,
breakfast, and refreshments.
