2011 NACADA Annual Conference - Call for Proposals opens Dec. 10
Please consider submitting a presentation proposal for next year's Annual Conference, Advising with Altitude, to be held October 2-5, 2011, at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver. The Call for Proposals will be mailed to all current members in early December. Beginning December 10, 2010, presentation proposals may be submitted online. The system will close on February 21, 2011.
The 2011 Awards Call for Nominations is now available, including nomination forms, guidelines and criteria. Each year NACADA recognizes academic advising professionals making significant contributions to the advising field, and award winners are recognized at the Annual Conference.
The slate of candidates for the 2011 NACADA Leadership elections is available on the NACADA web site. Platform statements and photos for candidates will be posted by late December. Visit the elections web site at for additional details. Voting will occur in February 2011. Stay tuned for more information! NOTE: Only those individuals whose NACADA memberships are current and paid in full as of January 28, 2011, will be eligible to vote in the elections.

The National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics (N4A) seeks proposals for N4A's 36th National Convention, The Heat Is On, June 2-5, 2011, at the Hyatt Regency Dallas. The call for proposals is available until Friday, December 31. N4A is attempting to place workshops in one of six tracks this year: Director/Administrator, Learning Specialist, Tutoring/Mentoring, Advising, New Member, and Small Programs.
