Building Stronger Networks for Student Success

Thursday, October 2 - Sunday October 5, 2003
Adams Mark Hotel, Dallas, TX

Almost 2,000 advising colleagues attended the National Conference in Dallas, October 2-5, 2003. In addition to lively plenary speakers - Dr. Richard Light, Harvard University, and Chancellor Mark Yudof, University of Texas System - delegates chose from over 300 individual presentations on current advising topics. To quote one participant: “The sessions I went to were dynamite, and I very much enjoyed all the networking opportunities”. After conference hours, Dallas provided ample opportunities to enjoy Texas hospitality. Congratulations to co-chairs Karen Schlabach and Cole Holmes and their entire conference committee for a job well done!

A complimentary registration to the 2004 National Conference in Cincinnati, NACADA apparel, copies of the two new NACADA monographs, a complete NACADA monograph set, a complete set of the NACADA Journals, a copy of the new book Faculty Advising Examined, and other door prizes were won at the conference. Thank you to all who attended and visited the NACADA exhibit booth to register. Hope to see you in Cincinnati in 2004!
