Position Description

Coordinate the full assessment cycle/process for non-academic units (student affairs/student services) to develop strong outcomes and analysis that aligns with institutional strategic planning.

Duties

In this challenging role, you will be supporting the SACS - Accreditation department at Greenville Technical College.

Duties may include any or all of the following.
-Support the on-going development and implementation of comprehensive assessment for all academic support services and administrative units to align with the goals of the Greenville Technical College strategic plan and ensure compliance with college program and accreditation criteria including identifying expected outcomes, assessing the extent to which the outcomes are achieved, and providing evidence of improvement based on analysis of the results.
-Develop and establish operating goals, policies, and procedures for the institutional assessment program, as appropriate; recommend, implement, and administer methods and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency college-wide.
-Coordinate the ongoing development and implementation of outcomes assessment programs to support the goals of the college's strategic plan, including providing training and resources for college personnel in all aspects of the assessment process through an innovative, inclusive, and collaborative environment.
-Manage, analyze, and interpret institutional assessment findings and prepare an annual report to summarize such findings, with particular emphasis on quality of the assessment efforts and findings that influence institutional decision-making and policy development.
-Assess and analyze annually the quality of assessment records to provide feedback for improvement of departmental and program assessment records.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus two (2) years relevant program experience

Preferred Qualifications

This position requires the ability to work with and support a wide range of needs within a dynamic college environment. An ability to lead, consult, and prioritize is critical in this role.
-Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility in project management, and a demonstrated ability to work with diverse members of the college community.
-Prefer experience working with a comprehensive higher education assessment program in the SACSCOC region.
-Demonstrated expertise in assessment, data analysis, and educational outcomes.
-Prefer experience in supporting the ongoing development and implementation of comprehensive outcomes assessment programs for academic and/or administrative units that support the goals of the college's strategic plan.
-Ability to synthesize and analyze quantitative and qualitative data and prepare and present reports effectively.
-Knowledge of institutional self-assessments and student outcomes assessment principles, methods, and techniques.
-Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
-Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated and creative solutions. -Proven competence in managing multiple tasks and competing priorities in high-paced work environment.
