Position Description
NYU's Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity available for an Assistant Director, Academic Affairs and Advising.
Duties
The selected candidate will advise students, manage student advisement programs for new and continuing MBA students and specific accountability for the successful operations of the MBA Academic Affairs & Advising Office. They will develop methods to improve and promote Academic Affairs programs to students and the community, write and edit policies, plan and implement procedures to maximize department and program goals.

Required Qualifications
The selected candidate must have a bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant experience with customer service such as academic advisement and counseling or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent interpersonal communication, organizational skills, demonstrated writing ability, proficiency using word-processing, database and spreadsheet software are also required. A master's degree in Counseling, Higher Education, Business or related field are preferred.
