Position Description

Assistant Director, Center for Academic Success Search Status: Application material received by May 21, 2021 will receive primary consideration. Saint Francis University invites applications for a full-time position as the Assistant Director in the Center for Academic Success. The Assistant Director is responsible to the Director for coordinating and directing services and programs for at-risk students within the Center for Academic Success, including scheduling study sessions, training coaches, scheduling classes, and monitoring student success. The Assistant Director also teaches two courses: College Success Strategies I and II. Master’s degree in education, or related area with at least two years of experience as a teacher, counselor, or administrator in higher education. Specialty in special education or reading specialist preferred. Experience working with educationally disadvantaged and high-risk students. Excellent public speaking, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational, managerial, classroom management, and technical skills Experience working with diverse group of students.
