Position Description

The Assistant Registrar for Operations, Processing and Credentials works under minimal direction to oversee processing (Accelerated programs, Credit by Exam, program plan updates, transcript generation, etc.), National Student Clearinghouse reconciliation, validation of credentials, returning student reviews and the degree conferral process. Collaborates with the Transfer Credit functional area to support all posting of transfer credit throughout the academic year. This position reports directly to the Senior Associate Registrar for Student Service and works closely with graduation analysts and Student Support Specialist staff to establish best practices with all processing that impacts student enrollment, transfer of credit and reviewing of student records to ensure degree completion requirements for graduation.


Tasks will include leading all Registrar office responsibilities in commencement, coordinating registrar office staff involvement in commencement exercises and managing the printing, ordering and accuracy of diplomas. Coordinating closely with third-party vendor to ensure timely and accurate delivery of diplomas to graduates and leading the University’s Certified Electronic Diploma initiative and partnership with Paradigm. Lastly, the Assistant Registrar of Operations Processing and Credentials performs, as needed, registration duties (enroll/drop/withdraw), prints transcripts and enrollment verifications.

Required Qualifications
