Position Description
Manages Graduate Assistant contract processing; reviews all contracts for accuracy and contacts department with outstanding issues; provides training on new processes and procedures; verifies course enrollment for all GA’s; maintains a database for ongoing analysis and provides analysis for Provost and other departments; assists Shared Services and HR with resolving errors and supporting unanticipated circumstances with respect to GA data loads. Duties
Manages the daily operations of many graduate school functions including, but not limited to, curriculum process related resolutions, assists with annual curricula reviews, assisting students and faculty in resolution of problems related to graduate school, establishing procedures to accommodate policies mandated by the Graduate Council, the University, and Board of Trustees, and working with college directors to resolve any problems associated with established procedures. Provide administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development and management (which includes new program proposals) and institutional and unit assessment and improvement. Hiring and performance evaluations of direct reports. Provides technical support for long-term Graduate School planning processes; provides training for all Graduate School personnel, graduate coordinators and other departmental staff; implements new University technological directives related to the Graduate School; manages technology use, upgrades, and problem resolution; designs reports and other data analyses in support of program enhancement for the Graduate School and other departments; maintains statistical data.
