The purpose of the Center is to improve student enrollment, persistence, and completion through a unified, systematic advising and academic success program across the university that includes the effective use of Trinity’s Starfish platform, data-analytics, and other student success tools.  Trinity serves about 2,000 students in three academic units with certificate, associate degree, bachelor and graduate degrees in the liberal arts and professional disciplines. An historic undergraduate Catholic women’s college with coeducational graduate and professional studies programs, Trinity is uniquely both a Predominantly Black and a Hispanic-serving institution; approximately 80% of the student body is Pell eligible.

Working with leaders across the institution the Director will facilitate seamless integration of the student experience from the point of admission through registration, enrollment, and completion.  The Director will ensure that advisors and student services specialists receive cross-training on academic programs, financial aid, learning support, student services, and other core institutional support services.  The Director will have primary responsibility to ensure that the quality and effectiveness of the Center fully embraces Trinity’s mission, values, and strategic goals.
