This position is full time supporting 5-degree programs (AS/BS/MS Homeland Security and Emergency Management, AS/BS Fire Services Administration, AS Paramedic Science/BS Health Science- Emergency Medical Services Concentration), and 2 academic certificates (Community Paramedics and Paramedic Science Academic Certificate). This position is the department recruiter and the primary student advisor for all degree programs and trainings. Lastly, this position oversees the running of the Human Patient Simulation Lab at the Meridian Health Science Center.
Academic advising and responding to requests for information from prospective students
Program development - prepare proposals, adapt curriculum, and create presentations and reports as needed Prepare and disseminate information about the department programs and degrees
Ensure that department web pages and social media sites are current and accurate
Conduct promotional activities on behalf of department program – recruit students
Organize and implement the admissions process for both the Paramedic Science degree and the Community Paramedic academic certificate.
Coordinate the Human Patient Simulation Lab use by both internal and external users Grant/contract writing/reviewing and related reporting

This position is located at the Meridian Center of Idaho State University
Bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant experience
Strong time management skills and ability to work both collaboratively and independently on complex projects in high volume, time – intensive, work environment often with tight deadlines
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with multiple and varied stakeholders; be extremely well organized; work in a team environment and work well with others
Office is located in Meridian, must have the ability to travel
