Position Description

The Operations, Systems, & Peer Tutoring Coordinator in the Office of Advising & Academic Success coordinates the day to day operations related to the work of the Advising & Academic Success office and assists in organizing the logistics related to student scheduling, faculty advising materials, and advising and academic success programming. Additionally, the Operations, Systems, & Peer Tutoring Coordinator has primary responsibility for the peer advising and tutoring operations of the College, including peer tutoring and the TutorMe 24/7 on demand tutoring service. Working closely with the Director of Advising & Academic Success, the Coordinator responds to routine student, faculty, staff, and family questions and concerns related to advising, scheduling, and programming and makes referrals to other staff members in the office for additional follow up and intervention, coordinates materials for course selection and orientation sessions, and oversees the logistical operations of the office.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; 3-5 years of experience in an Academic Advising and Academic Success environment including student advising, program administration and assessment. Knowledge of best practices and current trends in Academic Advising & Student Success. At least 2 years of supervisory experience with a tutoring program.
