Position Description
Design, implement, and evaluate all components of the Student Support Services program
Duties
Provides leadership, supervises, & evaluates SSS staff. Plans, implements, & tracks major program objectives. Prepares all monthly and annual reports to the US Dept of Ed Monitors the annual SSS budget Advocates for the SSS project in the campus community Advises SSS participants Delivers presentations & workshops. Keeps abreast of legislation and regulations mandated by the US Dept of Ed.

Required Qualifications
Support the Jesuit, Catholic mission of the College. Excellent communication & project management skills Knowledge of academic environments & principles of student development theory & academic advising. Understand the challenges facing first-gen, low-income, & academically disadvantages students as well as students with disabilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and maturity in handling sensitive information. Ability to prioritize task and anticipate deadlines. Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends. Master's degree in education, higher ed, counseling or related field from an accredited college/university . Minimum of 3 years experience in the areas of supervision, budget management, program development and evaluation, and reporting and compliance with federal regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in fields related to improving persistence and graduation rates for first-gen/low-income participants. Grant writing experience
