Coordinate student recruitment and enrollment management strategies in the Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources as part of the Dean’s Office Student Services team in support of a diverse and qualitatively strong undergraduate student body.
Commitment to inclusive excellence, equity, and student success.
Support initiatives for increasing retention through excellent advising and community building for all undergraduate students.
Assist in the development and implementation of short- and long-range strategies to support students from historically underrepresented groups including BIPOC and first-generation students.
Advise prospective and enrolled students as well as internal and external constituents related to academic, student, campus, and community opportunities; provide policy and procedural instruction and guidance based on a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of University standards.

Duties

Recruitment:
Develop programs, initiatives, processes, and procedures that maximize student recruitment and yield efforts such as general admissions programming and specialized outreach to select schools and community organizations.
Design recruitment materials with RSENR Communications Lead that align with the University’s Enrollment Management efforts.
Manage and analyze recruitment and retention data. Represent RSENR at recruitment events. Host admitted student visits and programs.
Provide guidance and direct support to prospective and incoming students and parents.
Organize class registration and orientation activities for new first year and transfer students.

Retention:
Implement programs, initiatives, and processes that maximize student retention efforts designed to support students’ academic, extracurricular, and social development, student retention efforts, and enhance community relationships.
Respond to and address inquiries and concerns of enrolled students and other constituents on matters related to academic, campus, and community opportunities.
Develop processes and procedures in support of RSENR advising program.
Provide direct service to undergraduate students and support to faculty advisors.
Conduct graduation audits and assist with Commencement planning.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and two to four years of relevant experience with student success services, student advising, enrollment management, academic programs, event coordination and liaising with the public required.
Proficiency with data management, ability to generate and present reports required.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member, as well as in a leadership capacity requiring independent and proactive work.
Ability to prioritize work in order to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
Ability to understand and apply university policies related to students and academics.
Demonstrated commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion priorities.
Effective organizational and communication skills (oral and written).

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with EAB Navigate, Banner Student Information System and Microsoft Office Suite including facility with spreadsheets; and knowledge of website applications.
Familiarity with University Admissions policies and procedures.
