Position Description

The ECU, College of Nursing continuously strives to create a learning environment and workplace culture that provides opportunity, support, and consideration for all students, employees, alumni, and other stakeholders. The College of Nursing is seeking applicants for a full-time Student Success Advocate. The ENC RIBN Student Success Advocate will coordinate all aspects of student services for ENC RIBN and promote successful completion for RIBN students within the expected time frame. This individual will work closely with ECU and the community colleges in the ENC region.

Duties

• Communicates and collaborates with other ENC RIBN Student Success Advocates, ENC RIBN Coordinator, Admissions, Registrar and Financial Aid Directors, faculty, staff and various committee boards to assist in the successful implementation of all student services aspects for ENC RIBN schools and students.
• In collaboration with the ENC RIBN Coordinator, facilitates the dual approval process for ENC RIBN administrative documents such as the Financial Aid Consortium Agreement

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s required in an appropriate field and two years administrative experience in an appropriate field.
• Competency in Excel or other data base software.
• Willingness to learn higher education data software.
• Proficient in verbal and writing skills. Able to work collaboratively with others. Able to make group presentations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred in an appropriate field.
• Prior work experience should include project management, recruitment and public relations, student services, and/or data collection.
• Able to work independently, collaboratively and maintain confidentiality.
