Sally successfully completed the Program and was awarded her Certificate of Completion at the Annual Conference in Salt Lake City in October 2013. Her accomplishments include presenting at conferences, writing for the NACADA Blog, serving as an Academic Advising Today reviewer, and being elected to serve as Region 8 Chair for the 2012-2014 term. She was honored with the NACADA Outstanding Advising Administrator Award, and she represents NACADA as a member of the Academic Advising Consultants and Speaker Services (AACSS). Sally has mentored a new Emerging Leader and served on the ELP Advisory Board. She currently serves on the AACSS Advisory Board, is a member of the 2022 Annual Conference Planning Committee, and is the 2022-2024 chair of the Finance Committee.

Ross successfully completed the Program and was awarded his Certificate of Completion at the Annual Conference in Salt Lake City in October 2013. His accomplishments include serving as Chair of the Advising Transfer Students Commission for the 2012-2014 term, for which he was honored with the 2015 NACADA C/IG Division Service Award. His Exemplary Practice submission was published in the Advising Transfer Students monograph, and he presented a pre-conference workshop and served as a panelist in a Webinar on that topic. He also served on the Leadership Task Force headed by Past President Jayne Drake. Ross returned to the program to mentor an Emerging Leader in the 2019-2021 Class.
 
As a result of his ELP experience, Ross says, "I feel as if I have a lot to contribute to this organization and will continue to seek out leadership roles locally, regionally and nationally.  I’m very excited about the work the Leadership Task Force is doing and hope to help implement new ideas and strategies.  Eventually, I would like to serve on the Board and perhaps even one day, become President!"

Angie successfully completed the Program and was awarded her Certificate of Completion at the Annual Conference in Salt Lake City in October 2013.  Her accomplishments have included service on the Member Career Services committee and serving as Co-Chair of the Career Advising Interest Group.  She has read/evaluated conference proposals, reviewed award nominations, and served on the C/IG Division Steering Committee for the 2015-2017 term.

Kristan successfully completed the Program and was awarded her Certificate of Completion in October 2013. Her accomplishments include serving as keynote speaker at a Region 9 conference, presenting at Annual Conference, and contributing to the NACADA blog. In 2014, she became Chair of the Faculty Advising Commission, and in 2015 she spearheaded the revision of the Faculty Advising Pocket Guide. She currently serves on the Research Committee, assisting with review of Research Grant applications.

Her accomplishments include serving as a member of the Publications Advisory Board, serving as a content reviewer for the Academic Advising Handbook, serving on the Academic Advising Today review team, and writing an article for Academic Advising Today. Chrissy also presented at Region and Annual Conferences and served as Co-Chair of the 2014 Region 10 conference.

Mandy Balek-Stephens

Mandy successfully completed the Program and was awarded her Certificate of Completion at the Annual Conference in Salt Lake City in October 2013. Her accomplishments include presenting at numerous state, regional, and annual conferences, and serving on the Diversity Committee, the ELP Advisory Board, and the Sustainable Leadership Committee. Mandy served as Chair of the Commission for LGBTQA Advising and Advocacy for the 2012-2014 term, and was a panelist for a webinar on this topic in January 2014. She served as a Mentor in the Region V mentoring program and on the steering committee for the Commission & Interest Group Division (2014-2016). She returned to the program to serve as a Mentor for the 2016-2018 Class. Recently, Mandy has moved out of the higher education setting to work with the Schuler Scholar Program. Mandy says, "The most successful part of this mentoring relationship to me has been the friendship that we have developed.  I put my heart and soul into this partnership, putting myself out there, sharing my fears, frustrations, hopes and dreams.  JP met me there and was always available to share those with.  This program was a catalyst to the start of our friendship, that I see lasting for a lifetime."

Melinda successfully completed the Program and was awarded her Certificate of Completion at the Annual Conference in Salt Lake City in October 2013. Her accomplishments include serving as Virginia State Representative to her Region and Region 2 Chair for the 2014-2016 term. She has served on the Diversity and Member Career Services Committees and presented at regional, annual, and international conferences. She served as a Mentor for a new Emerging Leader in the 2015-2017 Class, and as the Regional Division representative to the NACADA Council for 2017-2019. Melinda was elected to serve on the NACADA Board of Directors for the 2019-2022 term and was elected to serve as association President for 2022; however, she stepped down from her role as a Board of Directors member to become the association's Executive Director in July 2021.
