The Academic Advisor is responsible for the overall operation of the Undergraduate and Graduate Program Office and related activities within the School of Nuclear Engineering. In the School of Nuclear Engineering, academic advising is a partnership between the professional academic advisor and faculty advisors. Career advice and professional mentorship is done by the faculty and the wide variety of other advising duties will be fulfilled by the professional advisor.
The advisor will assist undergraduate and graduate students and faculty on academic matters; serve as the day-to-day interface with the First Year Engineering, Professional Practice Office and the Graduate School; and assist and work with the Undergraduate and Graduate Chairs and the Business Office.

One (1) year of work experience with academic advising, student services, student affairs, career development, counseling, and/or related field
