Welcome to NACADA's Global Advising Week webpage! May 2, 1979 was the official date when articles of incorporation were signed creating NACADA. During the first week in May every year, we celebrate the work of advisors, tutors, personal tutors, counselors and coaches that advise students around the world. This year we will celebrate NACADA Global Advising Week during April 28 - May 4, 2024.

Ways to Say Thank You

  • Give the gift of NACADA Membership.
  • Provide professional development opportunities through NACADA Webinars, eTutorials, and events.
  • Purchase NACADA Resources or swag for your advising teams.
  • Send thank you notes to advising staff and faculty by email or with online greetings via social media and our Kudoboard.
  • Create an online bulletin board for students to express appreciation to their advisors (i.e., Blackboard, Canvas).
  • Use screen casting tools to narrate a short story about your advising team or colleagues.
