NACADA supports research to advance knowledge about academic advising. Rigorous inquiry that investigates academic advising’s impact, context, or theoretical basis is particularly needed. The Research Committee has identified a research agenda of critical areas for research within these areas.
Research suggestions using CAS Standards
Research grants up to five thousand dollars ($5,000) may be awarded to support a single-year proposal. Multiple-year awards are also granted.Practicing professionals and graduate students from any institution (US or international) seeking support for research in academic advising are eligible to apply.
