Position Description

Defiance College seeks an individual to coordinate the administrative requirements and assist in all responsibilities key to the Registrar’s Office.

Duties

The individual will work closely with the Registrar and responsibilities will include assisting with: academic scheduling, registration, program degree audits, degree evaluations, plans of studies, transfer credit evaluations, and veteran benefits. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who possesses critical thinking skills, has the ability to analyze information, and is familiar with automated information systems. The individual must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to respond professionally to sensitive situations. Competencies in data entry and detail accuracy are a must.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree and previous experience in customer service or related professional field is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous work experience at a higher education institution is desirable.
