Position Description

The Sr. Academic Advisor will work with an energetic and student-oriented advisement team, you will be providing academic advisement to current undergraduate and graduate students within the CON. This is a fast-paced environment where employees strive to give excellent professional consultation/advice within demanding time constraints for multiple programs.


The successful candidate will possess strong advising, interpersonal, analytical, organizational, customer-service skills, excellent listening and communications skills. This candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and working with a diverse student, staff, and faculty population both internal and external to the CON.

Required Qualifications


Bachelor's degree; at least 2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in/with: Demonstrating Customer Service Skills Undergraduate and Graduate Students Advisement Utilizing software to interpret and analyze department, college, and university degree requirements Supporting Events Proficient communication as evidenced on your cover letter
