The College of Health Solutions Student Success Hub is seeking an energetic, solutions oriented, student focused Graduate Program Student Services Support Coordinator to join our dynamic team of student services professionals. We support a diverse array of graduate degree programs including behavioral health, biomedical informatics and diagnostics, exercise and wellness, nutritional science, science of health care delivery, and speech and hearing science. Our degree programs seek to advance the College charter which is to "translate scientific health research and discovery into practice. We prepare students to address the challenges facing our populations to stay healthy, improve their health and manage chronic disease. We bring people together to improve the health of the communities we serve, reaching them where they live, learn, work and play throughout the lifespan." The incumbent of this position will share in the goals of our college charter, mission, vision, and values, will support both online and immersion students, as well as work closely with program faculty and the team to successfully accomplish enrollment, retention, and graduation goals.
Assists students with application process and partners with EdPlus Enrollment Advisor and the CHS Recruitment team to notify students of missing application material. Packages completed admission applications and forwards to faculty committee for decision utilizing a google drive and spreadsheets. Works closely with the International Student Scholars Office to communicate CPT and OPT requirements as well as international student policies and procedures. Processes admissions decision in PeopleSoft, sends welcome material to student, and assists student with getting started process. Provides course recommendations, course overrides, and capacity overrides as appropriate. Sends enrollment reminders to student population. Processes administrative transactions on students behalf and interprets and enforces program and ASU, EdPlus, and Graduate College policies and procedures. Counsels and confers with students providing academic guidance, problem solving and resolution. Reviews student's iPOS for accuracy and timely completion for graduation. Assists faculty with approving an iPOS and ensure students are prepared for graduation. Works closely with leadership to ensure all students are being tracked for their progress. Provides assistance, information and guidance to faculty. Attends curriculum and faculty meetings for assigned degree programs. Collaborates with recruitment team, communications team, and Program Directors to provide overall student support and success. Attends and supports recruitment events, convocation, orientation and other special events as needed. Identifies, develops and maintains working relationships with the university for support as appropriate to work assignment. Actively engages in team meetings, staff meetings, and 1:1's. Attends and represents the program, school, and university at professional development workshops, on committees, and focus groups.

Bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment and three years of related experience; OR, any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Evidence of a Masters degree in education/higher education, student affairs, or closely related field. Experience advising online and immersion campus students in a higher education setting. Experience advising masters and doctoral students. Knowledge of international student policy and the needs of the international student population. Experience in discussing financial aid, registrar, veterans benefits, SAP Appeal process, CPT/OPT, and international admission requirements with students. Experience working with EdPlus personnel including success coaches. Knowledge of Graduate College policies and procedures including the iPOS system. Experience in working with and using Salesforce, the Advisor Portal, PeopleSoft, GAR. Experience in advising online students via Salesforce, phone communication, and in person meetings. Ability to complete a multi-step process with a keen eye to attention to detail. Experience in being flexible with changing environments while maintaining a positive and productive outlook. Ability to contribute to team morale and engage team and supervisor in constructive conversation. Able to remain productive and engaged in an open office environment. Ability to support supervisor, team, and student success in achieving overall goals and mission of the College of Health Solutions.
