Position Description

Gannon University, a Catholic university, invites applications for a full-time twelve-month Head Coach for Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving. The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching, leading, and directing all aspects of the Gannon University Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Team, ensuring adherence to Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) and NCAA rules, regulations, and the University’s Mission. The successful candidate will assist in developing leadership and citizenship of student-athletes and serve as an ambassador of the University within the community. Must be able to support and promote the University’s Mission.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred), successful collegiate-level coaching and recruiting intercollegiate student-athletes, and a working knowledge of PSAC and NCAA regulations. Must be able to pass the NCAA educational modules and have excellent communication and organizational skills. A valid driver’s license with a good driving history is required.
