Region 6 Advising Mentoring Program (RAMP)

RAMP pairs new advisors with a more seasoned advisor for a year of intentional mentorship during which they build relationships, establish and work toward professional goals, and develop a leadership platform with support from their mentor.

Applications for the 2025-2026 cohort are anticipated to launch in January 2025.

Responsibilities

Maintain NACADA membership throughout the Region 6 Advising Mentoring Program (RAMP).

Commit to a year long program, be willing to communicate with Mentor/Mentee on a regular basis, and participate in activities established for RAMP:

  1.  Attend Region Conferences at the start and end of program. (encouraged, not required)

  2.  Meet with Mentor/Mentee monthly. (virtually, over the phone, or in-person) 

  3.  Develop a written plan for Mentee’s professional goals with support and guidance from Mentor.

  4.  Attend virtual orientation and cohort check-ins.

  5.  Assist with promotion of the program.

  6.  Provide feedback at the end of the program documenting the experience and complete an evaluation of the program.
