Institutions and academic advising units engaging in the VAP program will benefit from expertise at a program level; a wider pool of potential employees for a temporary position; role models and mentors to build capacity, and leadership in the field to support program assessment and development.
Institutions wanting to participate in VAP would need to provide a profile summary and details of either the Advisor Exchange or Special Project as outlined below to NACADA for posting.
Posting a VAP position does not obligate hiring if an applicant does not meet an institution’s needs. Host institutions interested in pursuing a VAP should refer to the guidelines to support planning.
