DEI Hot Topics: Legislative Impact on Higher Education

Does the current legislative push to roll back diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts on college and university campuses have you concerned? Join us in a discussion about the current state of political affairs in our region. Gain tools to help you identify the States that currently have laws or are planning to implement legislation that will prohibit diversity training, eliminate diversity statements in hiring and promotion. Learn what steps are being taken to ban institutions of higher education from using race, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin in admission and hiring practices. Discuss/share insights on what we can do to raise our collective voices to help combat this ever growing trend.
