Empowering Native Students: Advising for Success in Higher Ed
12 p.m. central | Friday, April 25

In this session, we will explore the unique experiences, opportunities, and challenges that are faced by Native American students in higher education. We will also discuss how academic advisors and a position like a Native American Advisor can better support students. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of cultural, historical, and systematic factors that impact Native student experiences, and how to create a supportive advising environment.
