2 pm central
Proper professional self-care can be seen as an important responsibility that academic advisors should recognize. Due to the nature of advising, it is crucial to consider and incorporate self-care strategies to alleviate stress and burnout and in turn impacting the quality of guidance they provide to their students. The Well-Being & Advisor Retention advising community can support one another through developing knowledge and skills surrounding the topic of self-care. This discussion event is designed to provide participants with the resources they need to foster a meaningful professional quality of life.
