NACADA Region 9 Sessions to Go (S2G)

Region 9 is excited to introduce Sessions to Go. A new FREE online professional development series that will enable advisors to enhance their own professional development while fostering the professional growth of NACADA members in Region 9 beyond regional and annual conferences. This new initiative will contribute to a professional development online library, engaging the global advising community in an accessible and inclusive way, utilizing technology to build community across institutions. Register below to get started!

Do you have an idea for an engaging and informative webinar? Would you like to contribute to a professional development online library to increase our community’s knowledgebase? Are you looking for ways to get more involved with your region? If you answered yes to any of these questions, submit a proposal for Sessions 2 Go (S2G) today!

If you have an idea that would make an engaging and informative on-demand webinar, submit the form below for consideration. Each S2G will be posted on the Region 9 website and constitute an “on demand” free professional development library that Region 9 NACADA members can access.

  • Key Concepts in Advising: (Career Advising, Community College Advising, Graduate Advising, Study Abroad Advising)
  • Advising Special Populations: (First-Generation, Transfer, Students with Disabilities, STEM majors, Humanities and Social Sciences majors, Arts majors)
  • Self-care and Wellness for Advisors (Distance Advising Strategies, Compassion Fatigue, Becoming a Resilient Practitioner)
