Position Description

About the Position: The School of Business and Economics (SBE) is internationally accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). We offer students a broad-based education with a global perspective and emphasis on experiential learning. The School of Business and Economics announces an immediate opening for a full-time, 12-month SBE Academic Coordinator. Reporting to the Dean of the School of Business and Economics, the Coordinator oversees the recruitment, retention, and advisement of students, especially for the online BS Accounting program. This position will collaborate with staff throughout the campus and the SUNY system including admissions, advising, the learning center, student support services, technology enhanced learning unit, the registrar’s office and SUNY Online. The goal is to provide a centralized, coordinated effort to promote student success in the School of Business and Economics. As an institution that delivers challenging and high-quality educational experiences to a diverse group of learners, the successful candidate must demonstrate an understanding of and sensitivity to diversity and gender issues.
