Position Description
Overview The College of Arts and Science (CAS) is seeking a talented Associate Director for Pre-Professional Advising. This individual will provide general academic advising to CAS students, and manage the prelaw advising team and programming for students and alumni of the university who are interested in pursuing prelaw. Support other graduate and professional school opportunities. Collaborate with department staff to develop office policies and procedures.
Duties
Responsibilities Required Education: Master's Degree in Liberal Arts discipline or Higher Education Administration Preferred Education: Doctoral Degree in related discipline. Required Experience: 5+ years related professional level experience in academic advisement, event planning and implementation.

Preferred Experience: Related experience at a top college or university. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Superior communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels. Ability to develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with others to further the organization's goal. Ability to advise diverse student population on a multitude of topics.
Preferred Qualifications
Qualifications In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $58,500.00 to USD $105,000.00.
