Position Description

Provide high quality academic advising and specialized academic support services to Rubenstein School undergraduate students. Work as part of the Rubenstein Student Services team and collaboratively with Rubenstein faculty to support academic advising efforts, events and programs. Engage in Rubenstein School enrollment initiatives to support inclusive excellence as well as high retention and graduation rates through outstanding academic advising.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a specialized or related field and one to three years' related experience required.
• Demonstrated skills working with diverse student populations.
• Commitment to diversity and inclusion.
• Current working knowledge of software applications used to support office operations required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Desirable Skills/Qualifications:

• Experience working with university-level students desired but not required.

Also desirable are:

• Familiarity with the UVM administrative systems (DegreeWorks, PeopleSoft, Banner, myUVM, Teams) and interest in environmental issues.
