Todd successfully completed the Program and was awarded his Certificate of Completion at the 2009 Annual Conference in San Antonio. His accomplishments include serving as Co-Chair of the Program Committee for the 2010 Region V Conference and on the 2011 Conference Committee. He has served as a Presenter for a NACADA Webinar broadcast on the topic of transfer students; written for Academic Advising Today; presented at Annual Conferences; and served on the Diversity Committee, the Finance Committee, the Sustainable Leadership Task Force, the Webinar Advisory Board, and the Emerging Leaders Program Advisory Board. He served as Chair of the Two Year Colleges Commission for the 2011-2013 term (photo, right, at completion of that term) and the C/IG Division Steering Committee for the 2013-2015 term.

Erica successfully completed the Program and was awarded her Certificate of Completion at the 2009 Annual Conference in San Antonio. Her accomplishments included service to her NACADA Region and to the Program as a member of the ELP Advisory Board. Since completing the Program, she has served as the Concurrent Session Chair for the 2010 Annual Conference and written for a NACADA monograph. She received a Region 4 Award for Excellence in Advising (Administration) and in 2012 was named a NACADA Outstanding Advising Administrator.

After completing his doctorate, Cornelius accepted a position as Assistant Professor of Adult and Higher Education at Northern Illinois University.

His accomplishments include serving as Chair of the Webinar Advisory Board for the 2011-2013 term and as a presenter for three NACADA Webinars on the topic of communication. He has served on the Region 4 Steering Committee, the Research Committee, and the Professional Development Committee. José chaired the 2010 Annual Conference in Orlando, and in 2012 he served as Co-Chair of the Region 4 Conference. He has served as a NACADA Summer Institute Faculty member and is a member of the NACADA Consultants Bureau.

Carol Pollard

Carol successfully completed the Program and was awarded her Certificate of Completion at the 2009 Annual Conference in San Antonio. Her accomplishments include presenting at numerous regional and annual conferences, writing for Academic Advising Today, serving as Exhibits Chair for the 2009 Annual Conference, and being elected as 2009-2011 Region 7 Chair. Carol served on the International Name Change Task Force, the Annual Conference Advisory Board, and the Professional Development Committee. She chaired the Diversity Committee for the 2015-2017 term. She served as ELP-AB Chair for the 2012-2014 term, and in 2018 she was appointed to the role of Historian for the Emerging Leaders Program. She is serving as the appointed Administrative Division Representative to the NACADA Council for the 2019-2021 term.
Carol says, “The ELP program expanded my view of advising and opened so many doors for me within advising and the association. I would never have attempted to be a 'chair' without the wonderful mentorship and learning opportunities afforded me by this program. The friendships, contacts, and training have been remarkable!”
