Julia is a member of the Webinar Advisory Board, and she is chairing the STEM Advising Community for the 2020-2022 term.

He is a member of the Webinar Advisory Board and the Professional Development Committee. Banks has served on steering committees for the Wellbeing & Retention Advising Community and the Advisor Training and Development Advising Community. He was elected to chair the Advisor Training & Development Advising Community for the 2021-2023 term, and he will lead the audio/visual technical team for the 2022 Region 2 Conference.

She served as a member of the President's REI Workgroup and the Workgroup on First Year Programs. She has presented at regional, annual, and international conferences, and served as a conference proposal and global award reader and book reviewer. She was honored with 2020 Region 2 Excellence in Advising-New Advisor Certificate of Merit. Margaret worked with the South African Advising Association as a consultant to edit their constitution and by-laws to register that association as a NACADA allied member, and she translated the NACADA Core Values and Core Competencies from English to Swahili. She was elected to serve as Chair of the Global Engagement Committee for the 2021-2023 term.
