WELCOME RECEPTION CONTEST

Participate in a Kentucky Derby-inspired hat and/or apparel contest during the Welcome Reception from 8-10 pm Sunday, October 20.

• Wear a hat or colorful apparel to the Welcome Reception.
• Visit with exhibitors during the reception between 8-10 pm. 
• If an exhibitor likes your hat or apparel, they will give you a racehorse sticker to add to your contest card.
• Once you fill 10 spaces on your contest card, drop your completed card off at the NACADA booth or registration booth, and you will be entered in a drawing for one of three prizes listed below. (One contest card per individual, please.)

Winners must be present at the time they are announced during the “Mingle with Exhibitors” hour on the Upper Level at 4 pm Monday, October 21. If a winner is not present, another card will be drawn until all three prizes are given away.

Descriptors to think about for your hat/apparel are: colorful, unique, dapper, color-coordinated (matchy-matchy), spectacle, over-the-top, feathery, flowery, or with a hat like that, who needs sunblock.

REGIONS AND INTERNATIONAL CONTEST

This contest is between the region and international participants and will take place Monday, October 21. The group that has the highest percentage of visits to exhibitors on Monday will receive bragging rights and a few small prizes for attendees at their respective meeting Monday evening.

Instructions:

1. Pick up a few contest entry forms at the contest table on the Upper Level of the Convention Center.
2. Visit one or more exhibitors to discuss their products/services throughout the day on Monday. One entry per exhibitor, per individual, please.
3. Ask the exhibitor for a racehorse sticker to add to your contest form. If the racehorse sticker is not present, your entry will not be counted.
4. Deposit completed forms in the appropriate box at the contest table by 4:15 pm.
5. Forms in each box will be counted and the group with the highest percentage wins the contest. Prizes will be distributed to attendees at the their meeting. You must be present to receive the prizes.
