2022 Silent Auction

NACADA will host a Silent Auction at the Annual Conference on October 23-26 in Portland, OR. All proceeds from the auction will be used to fund scholarships to NACADA events in 2023. We hope this will be a great way for people to mingle, bid on some great gifts, and support those who are pursuing career goals in the field of academic advising.

Silent Auction Schedule

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 22

4-7 pm: Donation drop off at the NACADA registration desk


SUNDAY, OCTOBER 23

8 am-1 pm: Donation drop off at the NACADA registration desk


MONDAY, OCTOBER 24

11:45 am-4:30 pm: Silent auction open; bidding continues


TUESDAY, OCTOBER 25

8 am - 12:30 pm: Silent auction bidding continues
12:30 PM SHARP BIDDING ENDS
3-5 pm: Silent auction winners may pick up their items at the NACADA booth. NACADA cannot ship items to the winning bidder.


WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 26

7:30 -10 am: Silent auction winners may pick up their items at the NACADA booth. NACADA cannot ship items to the winning bidder.

DONATION GUIDELINES  

  • Donor forms must be completed and faxed to the Executive Office by October 12. A receipt for your donation will be provided after the silent auction is complete
  • Donors are responsible for bringing items to the conference or shipping the items to themselves at the hotel where they are staying for the conference. They should contact that hotel for any specific guidelines the hotel may have regarding shipping.
  • All donations must be delivered to the NACADA Registration desk.
  • Purchasers are responsible for taking or shipping home any items they win in the bidding process.
  • NO LIQUIDS
  • AVOID glass bottles

SUGGESTED ITEMS TO DONATE INCLUDE:

  • hand-made items (jewelry, greeting cards, handbags, ornaments, knitted items)
  • institutional paraphernalia
  • items indigenous to a particular state or area
  • consultation services in specific areas of expertise
  • vacation home rentals
  • autographed sports memorabilia
  • gift baskets
  • gift certificates/cards for restaurants
  • any other item that you think would generate bidding interest at the Silent Auction
