Region 9 Mentoring Program

Region 9 is excited to offer a mentoring program to our members. This program is for members who are looking to network and gain professional development. Participants have set goals such as presenting at conferences, advancing their education, moving up in their career, developing an advising philosophy, and navigating university structures. This is also a great way to get more involved with NACADA.

2025-2026 Application Process

The program will accept applications to be either a mentee or mentor until February 19. Once applications are reviewed, applicants will be notified and matched in early March. Orientation is scheduled for March 12.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be a current NACADA member.

  • For mentees, applicants should have less than three years of experience as an advising professional.

  • For mentors, there is no requirement for years of experience, but it is preferred that mentors have at least 2 years of experience as an advising professional.

Program Length

The program will begin at the 2025 Region 8/Region 9 Conference and end at the 2026 Region 9 Conference.
