On September 27, 2019, the NACADA Board and Council sponsored a Virtual Town Hall to share tips for planning ahead for the upcoming Annual Conference. All conference participants, especially newer attendees, were invited to learn how to make the most of the event. Presenters shared tips, strategies, and reminders on how to smoothly facilitate conference sessions. Exciting updates and improvements for this upcoming conference were discussed.
NACADA members may use this Google Form to submit additional comments/questions anonymously as it relates to this Virtual Town Hall topic. This form will be open until Friday, October 18, so that members have an opportunity to reflect on the information presented in the Virtual Town Hall.

On March 10, 2019, the NACADA Board and Council sponsored a Virtual Town Hall to share an update on insights and learning relative to their work towards Strategic Goal #4, "Foster inclusive practices within the Association that respect the principle of equity and the diversity of advising professionals across the vast array of intersections of identity," and to hear input from members related to ongoing efforts to foster inclusive practices in NACADA.

On February 22, 2019, the NACADA Board and Council sponsored a Virtual Town Hall to discuss NACADA as a venue for personal and professional development that supports student success. In providing the community with a space to discuss member-association interaction around the topics of professional development offerings and service, the Panel sought to draw upon the conversation to illuminate the reciprocal opportunities available to members as professional development consumers and (potential) volunteers as well as gaps in professional development (or service) offerings that NACADA can look to fill.
Region Review

On January 18, 2019, the NACADA Board and Council sponsored a Virtual Town Hall to discuss NACADA’s Region Review. NACADA’s Regional Division has been charged to do a complete and thorough examination of NACADA’s present region structure and how it serves our members. A panel consisting of NACADA leaders who are facilitating the Region Review process shared an update on the Region Review thus far and previewed the next steps in the process.
