Consultants & Speakers Eligibility Criteria

  • Five Years of NACADA Involvement & Membership
    Applicants must be members in good standing of NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising, with a minimum of five years of membership with increasing involvement and responsibility in the organization (e.g., leadership at the state, regional, national/international level, conference presentations, Institute participation).
     
  • Representing NACADA
    Knowledge of and commitment to NACADA's Vision, Mission, and Strategic GoalsCore ValuesCore Competencies and EAA Conditions of Excellence, are essential for representing the Association as a consultant or speaker.
     
  • Academic Advising Experience
    Applicants must demonstrate proven academic advising experience and expertise, and/or specific expertise in areas related to academic advising (e.g., issues in higher education, special student populations, advising delivery systems). This information may be demonstrated by submitting written material and presentations and should also be listed in the applicant’s Curriculum Vitae.
