The College of Arts & Sciences at Kansas State University has an opening for an academic advisor to support programs in the Natural and Quantitative Sciences.
Duties
We seek a dedicated student-centered individual to help prepare students for success by connecting them with educational experiences tailored to their specific goals and needs. The successful candidate will demonstrate patience, enthusiasm, and a sincere desire to assist students with appropriate course selection and development of academic and career goals while supporting student development in self-understanding and agency. It is expected that advisors will possess extensive knowledge about the university academic programs, policies, procedures, and student support services. Organizational and communication skills, timeliness, cooperation, and collaboration in a team environment are essential. Salary is commensurate with experience.
