Position Description

This position serves the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT) at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK. Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 years of related experience
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage projected deadlines.
  • Possess a positive attitude, good communications skills, and a desire to assist students in achieving success while at OSU and beyond.
  • Demonstrate creativity and initiative and be a proactive participant in a team environment.
  • Proficient in the use of personal computer, particularly Microsoft Office programs.
  • Manage confidential information appropriately.
  • Must be service oriented and able to work with faculty, staff, students and the general public in a positive manner at all times.
  • Promote effective and collaborative work habits and be an active participant in a collaborative work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A master’s degree in Higher Education, Academic Counseling or Advising or related field; an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Architecture or Engineering Technology.
  • Five years of experience directly comparable to academic advising; professional experience in an industry closely related to CEAT majors.
  • Experience with higher education or CRM software.
